Jason Jerina has been a technology leader for over 20 years. He has led Software Development, Release Management, Business Analyst, Application Support and Quality Assurance organizations in major industries.
Jason started up in technology as a hands on tester and has progressed from QA tester, to Quality Assurance Lead and then to Quality Assurance Manager. He is a senior leader of development teams, production support, release management and business analyst teams. Most of his 20+ years have been spent in Financial Services firms – Banking, Capital Markets and insurance.
He is currently the Vice President – Quality Engineering at New York Life Insurance and drives innovation with his teams in test automation, performance engineering, white box testing and newer efficient approaches to Acceptance Testing.
In this talk, Jason will provide a look at how test automation has evolved over time. He will also assess the marketplace of automation tools and paint the picture of how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can be used for the next level of testing evolution.
